House with a Red Wall
House with a Red Wall
This new house occupies a tight and difficult mid-block site in a midtown Toronto neighbourhood. The slope of the site made it challenging to create grade level relationships at both front and rear of the home. To accommodate, subtle transitions in floor levels were created.
Red glass clads the entire interior west wall of the main vertical circulation space transforming a mundane experience into a heightened one.
